What are a few simple techniques to improve copy in direct response messaging?  What is the latest research that underlies more effective direct mail, direct response television and digital marketing.  Learn how paying attention to Neuromarketing research results (neuroscience, behavioural economics, social psychology and cognitive psychology) will improve your effectiveness whether it be in the design of your messaging or the nature of your appeal.  These learnings cross media channels and apply to mail, television, telephone and digital marketing (e-mail and websites).  What are creative and strategic ways to improve your direct marketing in each channel.  Learn which teachings of commercial Neuromarketing apply to nonprofits in order to improve your results.

Geoff is CEO of Moore DM Group a fundraising companies holding entity and Chairman of CDR Fundraising Group, a large fundraising agency based in Washington, DC that offers to nonprofit organizations: direct mail, direct response television, inbound and outbound telemarketing, online direct response, social networking, corporate and cause marketing, nonprofit list brokerage and management, deferred giving, workplace giving, and strategic planning for nonprofits. 

Geoff has been the chief operating officer or chief executive officer of a national marketing research company, a national management consulting company, a $40 million life and health insurance company, a major commercial real estate development company, an international franchiser, and was formerly Vice-President, Operations for a multi-billion dollar holding company with more than 200 subsidiaries in multiple businesses including transportation, international agriculture, oil and gas, and investment banking. A direct response fundraiser, lawyer, and manager, Geoff has a J.D. degree, a M.A. in social research and statistics, and an A.B. degree from Northwestern University. 

Geoff has presented at various NCDC programs, Conferences, and webinars and advocates for nonprofit fundraisers, including NCDC. In 2011, Geoff received the NCDC George T. Holloway Award for Distinguished Service.
