Reframing the Fundraising Landscaping: Responding to Internal and External Changes

June 10, 2015

Presented by Judith E. Nichols, Ph.D., CFRE

Understanding what’s happening inside and outside of philanthropy enables fundraisers to “work smarter, not harder”. Dr. Nichols provides insights into the 4 key areas of philanthropic change: the overall stagnation of giving, the increasing competition for donations, the shift from giving from self-directed/institutional charities to altruistic/nimble organizations, and the reality that most giving continues to come from individuals as well as discussing outside forces that include the implications of population shifts and societal changes as well as technological changes. This webinar lays out overall strategies fundraisers can use to grow their programs in the competitive years ahead, offering practical information, and examples on focusing on committed giving and connecting with new audiences.
