Mary started with Amergent in 1999 and currently serves as Senior Vice President in Account Services. She has spent over 30 years in client and project management. For more than 20 years, she has focused on direct marketing in both the commercial and not-for-profit arenas, bringing results-driven strategic direction, production know-how and overall campaign management to her clients.
She and her team are privileged to deliver successful marketing campaigns, award-winning creative and in-depth strategic analysis to a variety of nonprofit clients in the human services and Catholic sectors.
Prior to joining Amergent in 1999, Mary was vice president at Topak Marketing, a direct marketing agency in Philadelphia. She embraced marketing after years in product development and account management at CIGNA, and before that, project management with Combustion Engineering.
The daughter of a professor who took full advantage of sabbaticals, Mary has lived across the USA and in the Mid East, enjoying the cultural variety of each different university setting. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and has a BA from the University of Hartford.
Mary is currently a Corporate Advisor to the board of the National Catholic Development Conference and the past Vice Chair of the Advisory Council for the DMA Nonprofit Federation. She has had the pleasure of speaking on a variety of topics at NCDC, AFP and DMA Nonprofit conferences.
