Mary has been in Catholic fundraising for over twelve years. In her current position as the Director of Major Gifts for the Passionists of the Holy Cross Province she is responsible for all special events, grant relations, strategic outreach and relationship building with current and potential donors. Traveling regionally with the purpose of cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors she invites everyone she encounters to learn about the Passionists and their ministries. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Francis and is currently working on her CFRE.
Mary has a certification in Ministry Leadership from Catholic Theological Union and has volunteered with several religious groups to help them achieve their fundraising goals. She successfully initiated the first fundraising endeavor for the Office of Immigrant Affairs for the Archdiocese of Chicago and was invited to repeat the success a year later and chair a major donor reception for Cardinal Francis George. Her mantra is you have to ask to receive. Mary is member of the Board of Directors for the National Catholic Development Conference. She lives in Joliet, Illinois with her husband Dan and her adult children Elizabeth, Michael and Matthew and is an active member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond.
